THE DEVELOPER’S CORNER

A good place to start building.

Connect a page, create a key, and make your first request. The rest is yours to build.

Errors and fair-use limits

Error responses include a stable code, a message, and a request ID for support.

{
  "success": false,
  "error": "UNAUTHORIZED",
  "message": "The API key is invalid or revoked.",
  "request_id": "REQUEST_ID"
}
Status Common codes What to do
400 INVALID_INPUT Check the URL, pagination, or submitted settings
401 UNAUTHORIZED, INVALID_SIGNATURE Check your key or sign in again
403 SUBSCRIPTION_REQUIRED, ORIGIN_NOT_ALLOWED, READ_ONLY_KEY, FEED_PAUSED, FEED_LIMIT_REACHED Check subscription, key scope, and feed settings
404 NOT_FOUND Check the feed ID and the account owning it
409 DUPLICATE_FEED Reuse the existing connection
429 RATE_LIMIT_EXCEEDED, REFRESH_COOLDOWN Wait for Retry-After before retrying
503 SERVICE_UNAVAILABLE, FEED_UNAVAILABLE Keep previously rendered content and retry with backoff

Shared request allowances

Plan Active feeds Requests per minute
Single 1 300
Business 5 1,000
Agency 25 3,000

All keys share the account’s allowance, including requests that receive 202. The limit uses fixed one-minute windows. RateLimit-Limit, RateLimit-Remaining, and RateLimit-Reset describe the current allowance. A 429 response includes Retry-After.

There are no monthly request quotas or automatic overage charges. Dashboard operations have a separate limit of 120 per minute. The public demo is limited to 60 per minute per IP.

Retry deliberately

Honor retry headers, avoid parallel polling, and use increasing delays for transient failures. Keep the last successful content visible while a refresh is running. Never put secret keys into browser code, error reports, or page URLs.

Credential verification limits

Uncached API key checks are limited to 60 per minute per client IP. Warm authorized feed reads use the shared plan allowance. Repeated invalid credentials are cached briefly to avoid unnecessary database traffic. Dashboard session verification is limited to 300 checks per minute per IP, with an additional 120 account operations per minute per account.
