THE DEVELOPER’S CORNER

A good place to start building.

Connect a page, create a key, and make your first request. The rest is yours to build.

Your first feed request

Headless Profeed delivers public LinkedIn company, showcase, and school posts as JSON. You control how that content looks in your website or application.

1. Connect your page

Sign in to your account with Google or an email link, choose a subscription, and connect a public LinkedIn page. Your account shows the feed ID and its refresh status. Initial collection runs in the background.

2. Create a secret key

In API keys, create a secret key for server use. Copy it immediately and store it in your server’s environment variables. Full keys are shown once; we only retain their hashes.

3. Request the posts

curl "https://api.profeedwp.com/api/headless-profeed/v1/feeds/YOUR_FEED_ID/posts" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_SECRET_KEY"

The default page contains up to 20 posts. Add ?page=2&page_size=20 to request another page. The maximum page size is 100.

{
  "success": true,
  "feed_id": "YOUR_FEED_ID",
  "posts": [],
  "total_posts": 0,
  "page": 1,
  "page_size": 20,
  "refresh": {
    "status": "queued",
    "last_success_at": null,
    "next_refresh_at": null,
    "stale": true
  },
  "retry_after_seconds": 5
}

This example illustrates a 202 Accepted response while the first posts are being collected. Wait for Retry-After before trying again. Once content is available, responses use 200 OK.

Try the public demo

GET https://api.profeedwp.com/api/headless-profeed/v1/demo returns up to three posts from one fixed demonstration source without an API key. It cannot be used to request arbitrary pages. The demo is limited to 60 requests per minute per IP address and may return 202 if content is not yet available.
